A pine that starts leaning over the screen room is a common sight on the smaller lots in Port Orange. Dunlawton, Allendale, Spruce Creek, and the streets off Nova Road often put the tree in the middle with a fence on both sides. The lean shows up after rain or wind off the Halifax. The trunk shifts, limbs hang closer to the cage, and the side yard is too narrow to fell anything in one piece. Trees for the Fallen lowers that wood in pieces from the Osteen shop. What a leaning

A downtown DeLand stump often sits next to a walk or a narrow side yard. What to photograph before the grind.
